Soprano Victoria Antionette Davis has performed at a variety of concerts and events, including the historic welcome of the First Lady of Russia alongside Michelle and Barack Obama, as well as the Kennedy Center’s Young Artist in America presentation. Her recent and upcoming performances feature her as Mrs. Zegner in Proving Up and Mary in Highway 1 with Opera Ithaca, the world premiere of Felix Jarrar’s Stardust—a piece created specifically for her—with Helios Opera, and the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with Opera Susquehanna. Additionally, she has portrayed Lily in Tobias Picker's Awakenings with Odyssey Opera and is featured on the album recording of Awakenings with BMOP, conducted by Gil Rose.

In 2023, Ms. Davis was recognized as a finalist for the James Toland Greenfield Award. During the 2022-2023 season, she achieved notable success as a District Winner in The Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition, a finalist in The Jensen Foundation’s Competition, and received a Grant Award from the Giulio Gari competition, along with an Encouragement Award from The Gerda Lissner Foundation. Her previous accolades include being named Encouragement Winner in The Metropolitan Opera’s 2021 Laffont Competition and winning First Place in the Harlem Opera Competition.

Recently, Ms. Davis had the remarkable opportunity to cover Indra Thomas in Teatro Grattacielo’s production of Spontini's La Vestale. This fall, she will be the soprano soloist for Handel's Messiah with Harlem Opera Theatre. A proud alumna of the Oberlin Conservatory and Mannes College of Music, her journey includes significant roles such as Lady Billows in Albert Herring and Marguerite in scenes from Faust, showcasing her unwavering dedication and passion for music. Victoria’s mission in life is to follow her star, allowing God to lead the way, as her mother has always encouraged.
